Vicki is the Owner of The Refinery, bringing over 12 years of experience in the industry. Born and raised in South Central Texas, she attended Seguin Beauty School, where she quickly discovered her passion of hair cutting and client care. Vicki has traveled across the United States pursuing advanced, barber-specific education, trainings, and competitions to refine her craft. In the fall of 2019, she returned to New Braunfels to open The Refinery, where she has since focused on cultivating a specialized team of creative professionals dedicated to craftsmanship, thoughtful care, and long-term growth.
Outside the shop, she channels her creativity into cooking, gardening, and any hands-on project.

Payton is the lead educator at The Refinery. She's been a member of the team since shortly after our grand opening in 2019! Payton has been licensed for over 10 years and brings a high level of quality and technical expertise to every service. Beyond hair cutting, she has been leading the technical cutting classes for our in-house training program as well as helping new stylists build a solid foundation and a portfolio of work.

Darby has 10 years of experience in the men’s hair industry and has been a trusted part of The Refinery for the past 5 years. She specializes in textured cuts and beard work, with a focus on natural shape, clean lines, and results that grow out well. Darby takes her time with every service, ensuring each cut looks just as good weeks later as it does the day you leave the chair. Known for building strong relationships with her guests, she creates an easy, comfortable experience from start to finish. Outside the shop, Darby enjoys watching movies and spending her summers camping and enjoying the Guadalupe River.

Alissa (Ali) is from Seguin, Texas and graduated from Seguin Beauty School in 2013. She has been specializing in men’s hair for 8 years and has been a valued member of The Refinery team for the past 5 years. Ali is known for her love of bald fades, kids’ cuts, and clean face shaves, bringing a skillful and detail-driven approach to every service. When she’s not in the shop, Ali enjoys iced coffee, shopping, and spending quality time at home with her son and her chihuahua, Potato.

Teagan has been a stylist since 2022 and loves helping people look and feel their best. Whether its a clean fade, a fresh cut, or just a touch up, she's got you covered. Whenever she isn't behind the chair, you can usually find her out on a hike, watering her ever-growing plant collection or hanging out with her 2 dogs. Good hair, good vibes!

Alexis is a born-and-raised Texan from San Marcos with a passion for hair and a knack for fitness. Upon graduation from William Edge Institute in New Braunfels, she went on to become dual-licensed as a barber and has been mastering the art of a bald fade like nobody's business.
Beyond the barber chair, you'll find Lex meticulously meal prepping and hitting the gym, sculpting both hair and physique with equal dedication.

Katie was born and raised in southern California and kindly asks that you do not slash her tires in the parking lot. Katie got her start with us in 2021 by managing all of our front of house operations. Katie graduated barber school in 2023 and has remained dedicated to mastering the craft. Despite her sarcasm, she enjoys meeting and building new relationships with guests and her teammates!

From an early age, she felt a natural pull toward this career path, which has grown into a lifelong dedication. Known for her friendly, chatty personality, she creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for every client. Savanna is committed to continuous growth, always refining her skills and expanding the services she provides. She is bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse clientele and deliver a personalized experience. Vanessa Lasnoski is a licensed cosmetologist with 14 years of experience specializing in barbering. Known for her attention to detail and exceptional straight-razor shaves, she blends technical skill with a warm, approachable style that keeps clients coming back.
She has managed multiple salons and owned her own, giving her a strong understanding of both the craft and the business. Professional, sociable, and genuinely fun to be around, Vanessa creates a space where clients can relax, laugh, and leave looking their best.
Her favorite part of the job is pampering the men who deserve it most (yes, you too). She’s passionate about helping clients look sharp, feel confident, and enjoy a moment of care—while building real connections along the way.

Deborah moved from Maryland in the summer of 2024 and has been dedicated to expanding her knowledge of hair since then. She is currently working with our senior stylists to continue sharpening her skills, and is ever-growing with her technique. Although she loves all haircuts she does have a fondness for the classics like gentlemen's scissor cuts. On her off-time she stays creative by drawing or clearing her head with walks around her neighborhood!
